While last year it was still a matter of sheltering under umbrellas and tents, this edition of the Brabant Liberation Festival the sun shone brightly. Visitors enjoyed the music, a snack and a drink. Despite the muddy spots on the site, people sat and lay on rugs on the ground. The bicycle shed was already overflowing at the beginning of the afternoon.
Bosche Flemming
The main stage was opened by Den Bosch singer and Ambassador of Freedom Flemming. This artist attracted so many people that the organization placed a call on their Instagram account around 2 p.m. not to come to the festival site temporarily. Only a few visitors were allowed in. An hour later that call was withdrawn.
Other artists
In addition to performances by Balkan Paradise Orchestra, Kaya Imani and Prins S. en de Geit, there was also attention for more serious things. At the stands of Amnesty International and Unicef people talked about human rights and the freedom of children. At the tent of the Veterans Institute you could talk to former Defense employees who worked in war situations.
