• Wednesday May 8: Noise rock trio Texoprint released a new EP two weeks ago. On it you hear an intense mix of shrill, screaming guitars and hypnotic drums. They play in ACUwith support from PIZZA KNIFE. (8 p.m./€11)
• Thursday May 9: Rolando Bruno mixes drawn South American cumbia rhythms with heavy garage rock, psychedelics and hints of traditional music from all over the world. He will be performing tonight with this sound, which he baptized cumbia trash The Kromme Herring. (7.30 pm/€14.70)
• Thursday May 9: The Utrecht shoegaze/grunge band Paleblue plays in Stathe. (8:30 PM/free)
• Friday May 10: The second album from Donna Blue contains romantic and cinematic songs, full of strings and long psychedelic passages. Lee Hazlewood (!) is one of their inspirations and you also hear some jazz influences. They’re playing tonight The Industry. (8 p.m./€14.50)
• Friday May 10: Johan and Jeppe is a Utrecht collective of high school friends that makes ‘Nederhip-pop’. With a full band they mix up-tempo songs with poetic cabaret, as you can see on the Rabo Open Stage by TivoliVredenburg can see. (10:30 p.m./free)
• Friday May 10: Hardcore party Hell’s Basement is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year FLUOR with a line-up featuring hardcore legends such as NEOPHYTE, PROMO, Damage, Cartman and Hellfire. (11 p.m./€19.25)
• Saturday May 11: The annual event takes place in the nicest courtyard in Amersfoort (Weverssingel 44). St Joseph Festival place. The line-up includes many local bands, hip-hop acts and DJs, such as There You Go (photo)flut., Just do it, TITUS and Alex Ranzino b2b Mahabe. (1 p.m./tickets at the door)
• Saturday May 11: Just like last year, the Utrecht underground is once again dancing for the interests of the frayed edges, the places that are set up and designed from the bottom up, based on their own initiative and passion. (1 p.m./free)
• Saturday May 11: Inspired by both classical and contemporary folk artists, the singer-songwriter tells the story neomi sincere and authentic stories. Her debut album was recently released Somebody’s Daughter, of which she plays songs in EKKO. (7 p.m./€14.50)
• Saturday May 11: We saw in March Dream butter at Club 3voor12 Utrecht: Dutch indie pop with guitar, bass and drums and witty lyrics about topics such as boring and porn. The debut EP will be released this week and they will perform tonight Stathe. (8:30 PM/free)
• Sunday May 12: Maserati is one of the founders of post-rock. The band is back with the reissue of their classic album Pyramid Of The Sun and an EU tour that they are heading to tonight ACU brings. (8 p.m./€13)
