Anyone who still wants to vote for the Brabant Top 100 should act quickly. Tuesday evening is the last option, because the polls close at midnight. Everyone can vote for the most beautiful songs from our province.

“We are almost bursting at the seams with Brabant artists and beautiful songs. Guus Meeuwis, Krezip, Gerard van Maasakkers, Voltage, Doe Maar, Jan Biggel, Rosa Spruit, Abel, René Schuurmans and Tiësto. They all come from Brabant and this is still but the tip of the iceberg,” says Omroep Brabant presenter Maarten Kortlever about the offer in the list.

You can complete your list here. The list will be broadcast for the fourth time this year. This traditionally happens on Ascension Day and this year it is on May 9.

The top three on the list were the same last year as in 2022. Guus Meeuwis has been consistently at number one for years with ‘Brabant’. Last year, Jan Biggel came in second with ‘Ons Moeder Zeej Nog’ and third place went to Gerard van Maasakkers & Vrienden with ‘Hee Gaode Mee’.

Still need voting advice? We’ll give you some inspiration on the radio on Tuesday evening:

Jan Biggel and Django Wagner
Singer Jan Biggel from Liempde delivered a unique performance: in addition to being at number two, his song ‘Lilluke Linda’ was the highest new entry (place twenty). And his song ‘Ha’k Jou Maar Nooit Gekend’ is the biggest hit. That number rose no less than 43 places, from number 70 to place 27.

Singer Django Wagner from Nuenen also did well. ‘That’s What His Fathers Are For’ crawled up 41 places and is now at 40th place, and ‘Those Beautiful Eyes (Have Deceived Me)’ has risen from place 87 to 59.
