CROWNINGS – TTwo hundred residents of the municipality of Reimerswaal received a free rain barrel at the end of last year. “Because even more residents want to contribute to a better climate, this action will be continued,” the municipality said. ‘From Monday, May 13, residents can register for a rain barrel. We are raffling off 440 tons in total.’
‘A lot of valuable drinking water is often used to water the garden. A shame, because rainwater can easily be reused. In addition, heavy showers can cause overflowing sewers and a lot of water on the streets. A rain barrel collects this water, which can then be used to water the plants, for example.’
You can request a rain barrel by completing the form at www.reimerswaal.nl/regentonnenactie. This is possible from May 13, 10 a.m. to May 18, 5 p.m.
Promotional conditions
- You cannot request a rain barrel by sending an email to the municipality. There is only one way to register: from May 13, 10:00 AM to May 18, 2024, 5:00 PM via the form on the website: www.reimerswaal.nl/regentonnenactie
- After closing, we will raffle a total of 440 rain barrels among all registrants. We do this through Lotify, a certified platform for lotteries.
- Every registrant will receive a message. If you receive a rain barrel, the message will state where and when you can pick it up.
- The rain barrels are only available to residents of the municipality of Reimerswaal.
- If you received a rain barrel during the previous promotion, you may not participate again.
- A maximum of one rain barrel can be requested per household.
- By completing the form you agree to a one-time participation in a draw.
- There will be no correspondence about the results.
