A new presentation with photos and contact details of students is being circulated in Utrecht. An accompanying letter threatens more publications. The Utrechtsch Studenten Corps (USC) claims that a “source outside our association” is responsible for the so-called banga list.

The USC said in a statement on its website that there are “concrete indications” that the letter and list were not drawn up by members of the association. The USC also writes that they have reported the list to the police. NU.nl also saw the list on Friday.

A police spokesperson confirms to NU.nl that they are aware of the developments and that they are being included in the ongoing investigation into the corpsbanga list from earlier this month.

Parents of students who are on the new banga list have reported to lawyer Ina Brouwer. She already assists victims of the previously published Utrecht banga list.

“There must be limits,” says Brouwer about the new list. The lawyer cannot yet say how many parents have come forward.
