We have: Elden Ring, Baldur’s Gate 3, God of War: Ragnarok, Hades, Hades, Street Fighter 6, Persona 5 Royal, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake II, Horizon Forbidden West + Burning Shores, Ghost of Tsushima, Gran Turismo 7, Final Fantasy VII, It Takes Two, Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty, Diablo IV, Tunic, Crash Bandicoot 4, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Death Stranding, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil: Village, Helldivers 2, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Life is Strange: True Colors, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Lies of P (and many more).
And a remaster isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Very good ones include: TLoU Parts I & II, Resident Evil 4, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, The Witcher 3, Dead Space, Demon’s Souls, Final Fantasy remakes, and soon Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
Not to mention the great games on the Nintendo Switch. This also includes masterful titles.
Of course, less good games have been released, but that is the case with every console generation. You need to recognize the pearls and play them to get the best out of it.
