According to the journalist, who works in Belgium, Besiktas hoped to convince Patro Eisden at the last minute with a million-dollar offer. The sixteen-time champions of Turkey reportedly had a transfer fee of 4.1 million euros including a five percent sell-on percentage left for the arrival of Hadj Moussa. Foot Mercato announced a few days ago that Feyenoord had made an offer of 3.5 million euros. The Turks were most likely prepared to pay more, but Hadj Moussa had already made the decision: Feyenoord would become his new club.
