Arne Slot confirms that he would like to work at Liverpool. Shortly before the match against Go Ahead Eagles, Feyenoord’s trainer says that the clubs are negotiating with each other and that he is confident of a good outcome.
“The only thing I can say about it is that the clubs are negotiating. Then you sit in the waiting room and wait to see what will come out of it,” Slot tells ESPN, prior to the league match starting at 9 p.m. “It seems clear to me that I would like to go to Liverpool. Now I’m waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement. I have every confidence in that.”

The English press will be present in Deventer to ask questions at the press conference afterwards. In the run-up to the match, he was also met by an English journalist at the Van der Valk hotel. “They indeed followed us with the bus, but that was all it was. Apparently it was part of it,” he says.
