The future of Pascal Bosschaart is still uncertain. This season he is seconded by Feyenoord to FC Dordrecht, where he is assistant coach. Bosschaart’s contract with Feyenoord runs for another year and he would like to get a position in the technical staff of the Rotterdam team.

Since Arne Slot is leaving for Liverpool, and seems to be taking staff members Sipke Hulshoff, Etiënne Reijnen and Ruben Peeters with him, the staff will look very different next season. Bosschaart gained experience in the coaching profession at IJsselmeervogels, SC Cambuur and Dordrecht and is looking forward to a next step at Feyenoord.

“There is now a lot of space at Feyenoord. It just depends on what the club wants. Maybe I’ll be included in the process, we’ll see. It would be a nice reward for my work,” says the former defender, who played for Feyenoord between 2004 and 2006, in an interview with the Leeuwarder Courant.

In any case, Henk de Jong, the former head coach of Cambuur who had Bosschaart as his assistant, is enthusiastic about him. “Pascal is a unique, sweet man. A good person too. And not entirely unimportant in this profession: he knows a lot about football.”
