Arsenal achieved an important victory on Saturday in the battle for the English league title. ‘The Gunners’ won 3-0 against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium, meaning that the title battle in the Premier League still remains extremely exciting.

Thanks to the effortless victory over Bournemouth, Arsenal now has 83 points after 36 matches. The lead over Manchester City is still four points, but coach Pep Guardiola’s team still has to play twice. Liverpool is also still in the race for the title with 75 points from 35 matches.

Jurriën Timber zou zaterdag na negen maanden blessureleed terugkeren in de wedstrijd van Arsenal. Dat zei trainer Mikel Arteta vrijdag op zijn persconferentie. Die belofte maakte de coach niet waar. De 22-jarige Timber stond niet op de spelerslijst.
