Max Verstappen starts today’s Miami Grand Prix from pole position. The Dutch Red Bull Racing driver is looking for his next victory, and he is feeling good. Verstappen knows that the Ferraris are strong, but he trusts his own employer.

Red Bull and Verstappen are very strong in Formula 1 this year. Verstappen is also doing very well in Miami, as he was the fastest in all sessions. Despite that statistic, Verstappen was not very satisfied with his car and the tires. Verstappen complained a lot during the sprint qualifying, the sprint race and qualifying. Before the race he exuded a lot of self-confidence.

During the drivers parade he chatted pleasantly with his opponents. Verstappen was optimistic when he spoke about the truck that transported the drivers: “I think it’s quite tricky for everyone. It’s all a bit unpredictable on this circuit. I think you saw that during the previous races here the soft tires don’t last long enough. If a Safety Car comes, we might use that tire.” Verstappen knows that the Ferraris can challenge him: “They are certainly faster here than on other tracks, but if we can do our job, we should be fine.”
