An exciting competition ends with an absolute cracker. FC Groningen will compete with Roda JC in Euroborg this Friday for a direct ticket to the Eredivisie. The Pride of the North needs three points to be promoted immediately, opponent Roda JC needs a draw. The promotional match in a sold-out Euroborg starts at 8 p.m. The FC will start season ticket sales (SCC) for the upcoming season when it is clear at which level the club will be active next season.
Should FC Groningen secure promotion next Friday, the period in which season ticket holders can renew their annual ticket will start on Monday, May 13 at 12:00 noon. If the FC has to compete in the play-offs, the extension period – regardless of the end result of those play-offs – will start in the first week of June.
The place for current season ticket holders is reserved until Sunday, June 23. After that, the reservation will expire and every supporter can purchase one of the vacant places from Monday, July 1, 9:00 am. The places that are not currently occupied by season ticket holders will go on sale from the moment of renewal.
As is known, a sector separation will take place at the Tonny van Leeuwen Tribune (North Stand) next summer. More information about this can be found in this message. In the week after the extension period, FC Groningen organizes several exchange days for supporters who – if possible – want to exchange seats or stands (parts). Only supporters who have extended their current season ticket by Sunday, June 23 are eligible for the exchange days.
The exchange days are:
- Tuesday, June 25: supporters in the current sections A and H (seat numbers 1 to 18).
- Wednesday June 26 and Thursday June 27: supporters in the North Stand who want to switch sectors.
- Friday, June 28: regular exchange day for all season ticket holders.
If there is no change in the name on the season ticket, the section, the stand (part) or the stadium entrance, the current pass will not be replaced. So keep the current season ticket safe. The season ticket can be paid via Ideal, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and one-off direct debit. It is also possible to pay for the season ticket in different installments. You can use your debit card at the counter at the main entrance of Euroborg.
