EINDHOVEN – The title has been won: in a muddy city center, the PSV players and their fans had a great party on Sunday and Monday. In ‘Heet van de Herdgang’, the ED podcast about PSV, an extensive look back at the championship match against Sparta (4-2) and the honors.
Presenters Mascha Prins, Rik Elfrink and Frank van den Muijsenberg talk about the strange match against Sparta (opinions are somewhat divided about the level) and the over-concentration among some players. The historical section focuses on the first live match on Dutch TV: PSV-Eindhoven in 1950. Philips broadcast the match live to eight hundred lucky people with a television set. PSV’s new away shirt is based on the old test image from Philips.
