FIA CEO Natalie Robyn announces her departure from the international motorsport federation. Robyn was the car association’s first CEO and will complete her duties before officially leaving later this month.

In November 2022, Robyn was selected to serve as CEO at the organization. With a history of more than fifteen years in the automotive industry. She was, among other things, the CEO of Volvo Switzerland, and she also held various management positions at Nissan and DaimlerChrysler. Robyn was appointed to help the car association modernize, but she still wants to return to work in the car industry.

Quoted by MotorsportWeek says Robyn: “Acting in the role of CEO at the FIA ​​has been a huge privilege, and I am grateful to have led a program of restructuring and reform.” After just under two years of employment, she thinks she has had enough with the FIA. “Now is the time to step back knowing that the organization is better positioned for the challenges ahead. I am very proud of my role in driving the FIA’s transformation in both sport and mobility, and I am pleased to leave an organization that is made up of a great team of talented and dedicated individuals.”

Robyn is the fourth leader to leave FIA

FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem mainly points to Robyn’s major contribution. “Natalie’s appointment was notable as the first CEO in the history of the FIA. She has contributed significantly to a major reorganization of our operational and management structure and our financial sustainability.” Robyn’s farewell is the fourth in a list of important leaders of the international car association.
