During the Met Gala last Monday evening, Cara was interviewed on the red carpet, together with Ed Sheeran and Stella McCarthy. There, according to fans, she made a strange impression. One of them wrote under the news magazine video E! News: ‘They want to prevent her from ruining the interview, because she is so under the influence that they had to intervene.’

Cara decides not to leave it at that and defends herself in the comments. ‘I’ve been in rehab for almost two years! Thanks for the support.’ Previously, Cara was open about her addiction and her decision to check herself into rehab. She did this after she saw ‘heartbreaking’ photos of herself DailyMail. That was a wake-up call for her.

In an interview with Vogue the actress says that she wasn’t ready to face her demons until she fell into a deep valley. “I had some kind of interventions, but I wasn’t ready for it. That’s the problem.” During that period, Cara had not seen a therapist in three years. “I pushed everyone away, which made me realize how deep I was in a deep valley.”

Later, when her friends and family came to visit her during her crisis, Cara realized how loved she is. “I hadn’t slept. I wasn’t doing well,” she explained. “It’s heartbreaking because I thought I was having fun, but at some point I thought, OK, I don’t look good.” Cara also said that she is happy that she got a ‘reality check’ and has since worked hard on herself in rehab.
