   The weather during King’s Day

   The most important thing first: what will the weather be like? It does not seem to remain completely dry: during King’s Day there is a local chance of a heavy shower in the afternoon with hail, thunder and a lot of rain in a short time.

   There will be a few showers in the south on Friday evening, but it will be mostly dry elsewhere. After midnight, showers are still possible, especially in the western provinces, the weather bureau said. It eventually cools down to 4 to 7 degrees, considerably less cold than previous years. “Last year we even had to deal with extensive night frost during King’s Night,” reports Weeronline.

   During King’s Day there are dry periods with sometimes sunshine, but from the south the chance of showers increases. In the course of the afternoon there will be scattered showers across the country and local showers may turn out to be heavy, the weather bureau predicts. The temperature is about 14 degrees in the Kop van Noord-Holland to 16 degrees in the rest of the country.
