In the Staatsloterij King’s Day draw, the main prize of €250,000 per year for 20 years was awarded to five 1/5th State lottery tickets. This means that the winners of the King’s Day draw will each receive €50,000 per year for the next 20 years. One of the winning tickets was sold in Enkhuizen.
The winning ticket number for this tax-free Grand Prize is GL 08379. De Enkhuizer shares his/her prize with winners from Castricum, Ridderkerk, Wijchen and the municipality of Maasgouw.
This year, at its peak, 32,241 tickets were sold per hour for the King’s Day draw, equivalent to approximately 537 per minute.

The winner from Enkhuizen bought his/her ticket at Primera Enkhuizen on Westerstraat. The shop assistant who is in the Enkhuizer Primera this Sunday says he has no idea who sold the winning ticket. “But it is of course great that this fate comes from us. That’s why the flag goes up with us. I haven’t had many reactions to it in the store yet, but the news is of course still very early.”
The Primera in Enkhuizen doesn’t seem like a bad place to buy lottery tickets, five years ago a ton fell here. But such a large fish as has now been caught is unique to this store.
Last year, the main prize of the King’s Day draw also fell on five 1/5th tickets, then sold in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zaandam, Amersfoort and Assen. These players also shared the prize and went home with €50,000 per year for 20 years.
The Staatsloterij announces that the prize winners remain anonymous.
