Several children were jumping at the time of the accident. Another child was taken to hospital with injuries, reports said CNN. The girl’s life is not in danger.

“This is a tragic accident. “We sympathize with the family and pray for them,” Pinal County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lauren Reimer said in a statement.”

Gust of wind

According to American safety regulations, these types of air castles must be properly secured to the ground when the wind speed exceeds 15 miles per hour.

The wind gust at the time of the accident was approximately 20 miles per hour. Police could not say whether the castle in the air was properly secured to the ground.

Friends and family of the deceased boy have started a fundraising campaign via Gofundme for the funeral. “As a community, we want to provide support and relief from the financial burden associated with these types of tragedies,” the statement said.
