Joost Klein also did good business for the Netherlands, he has been the most streamed Eurovision song on Spotify for weeks. Yet it is now a completely different song that takes the number 1 position with the bookmakers.

Nemo met TheCode impressed twice this weekend. The Swiss, who is non-binary, was seen live on Swiss television and during the pre-party in Madrid. In terms of clothing, Nemo Mettler is a striking appearance. With a cheerful dress they bring them the strong pop song TheCode flawless every time. The song showcases all their talents, including rapping, but high notes can also be heard.

The number TheCode is about Nemo’s journey, which began with the realization that they are neither man nor woman. “The road to finding myself was a long and often difficult process for me,” Nemo said when the song was announced.

In the shadow of Nemo, things are also going well for Joost Klein, who will participate in the song festival in Malmö on behalf of the Netherlands in May. He was not present at the pre-party in Madrid, but sees himself overtaking Ukraine at the bookmakers and rising to fourth place. De Fries’ streams are still going through the roof on Spotify. It is now Europapa already listened to 22.5 million times worldwide. About six million of these came from abroad.
