From now on, Yvon Jaspers will go through life as a knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. The TV presenter (51) received a royal honor on Friday.
Yvon Jaspers will receive the corresponding decorations later. The resident of Loenen aan de Vecht was not present on Friday to receive the tribute. Jaspers received her award for ‘her efforts as a TV presenter, program maker and achievements in the field of media.’ She presents, among other things, the very popular program ‘Farmer Seeks Woman’ and the program ‘Our Farm’.

Even outside the cameras and even years after their participation, Jaspers is still very involved in the well-being of the participants. She is praised for this by the (former) participants in the program. She has also been an ambassador for the Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund since 2004. She draws attention to the work of the fund and contributes to fundraising. She also wrote a book and designed five series of coffee cups, the proceeds of which go to the Ronald McDonalds Children’s Fund.
In February, Jaspers announced a new season of ‘Farmer seeks woman’. It will be the fourteenth season of the program. Last year there was another season with international farmers, but this year Dutch farmers are looking for love again.
