Ellen DeGeneres (66) has had a few difficult years. The former talk show host and comedian said she was ‘kicked out of show business’ after a number of (ex) employees said in 2021 that there was a nasty atmosphere behind the scenes of her show. After the fuss, the presenter quit the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ after nineteen seasons, although she said she made that decision because she felt like doing something different.

The accusations made Ellen feel like she was “the most hated person in show business,” she said during a performance of her stand-up comedy show, according to American media. “That hatred persisted for a long time and I tried to avoid the news,” Ellen reflected.
The comedian’s self-confidence and ego suffered as a result of the fuss, she said. “There are such extremes in this industry, people either love you and idolize you or they hate you, and those people somehow shout louder.”
Ellen is now doing well again. “It’s hard to dance when you’re crying, but now I’m dancing again.”
The stories resulted in three editors being fired. The presenter also put on the sackcloth. The talk show was last broadcast in 2022.
