The hit series Eyeballs will get a seventh season. Lead actress Malou Gorter revealed this in the radio program Follow spot. A spokesperson for BNNVara tells this site that Gorter’s revelation is correct: “We can confirm that there will be a season 7 of Eyeballs comes.”

Gorter (55) told presenter Hijlco Span that the audience will one day have to say goodbye to all the beloved characters. “But this will not be the last season, there will be a seventh,” said Gorter. “Although I don’t know if I can say that yet.” The recordings of series six are currently being completed, which will be shown on NPO next autumn.

Eyeballs follows four different families in which parents struggle with raising their teenage children. In addition to Gorter, Bracha van Doesburgh, Ramsey Nasr, Jeroen Spitzenberger and Eva van der Gucht can be seen in leading roles.

The series was awarded the Golden Televizier Ring in 2023. Gorter will be in Theater Carré in Amsterdam on May 4 with a performance for Theater Na De Dam. On May 4 and 5, more than 130 theater plays about remembrance and freedom will be performed throughout the country.
