Very rich, extremely poor
Wim has already gone down on one knee for his Bella, but with a weekly budget of 70 euros they have no money for a wedding. The couple is in tears when they hear that they can go to Memphis. They can’t believe their luck, because Wim is a huge Elvis Presley fan, and that’s where it comes from. “This is a dream, we are living in a dream week,” Wim concludes.
So Wim is planning a visit to Graceland, while Bella’s outing of the week is choosing a wedding dress. When she sees herself in the mirror, tears well up in her eyes. “When I close my eyes now, I see myself walking into the church. I am speechless. I am very happy,” she beams. Meanwhile, Wim also has a mission: buy a ring for Bella. When he asked her to marry him last year, he had no money for it. The fact that it is now possible makes him very happy: “I am so happy, so happy to give her this.”

During their last evening in Memphis, Wim once again gets down on one knee for Bella. “I took the plunge and we’re just going to do that,” he giggles just before the proposal. “Bella, we had a nice holiday here. I had a great time with you. I want to ask you: will you marry me?” With a somewhat shy smile she accepts the ring, which unfortunately does not fit, “but that will be fine,” Wim promises.
