Eavesdropping equipment may have been found in a meeting room for ministers in the Polish city of Katowice. Intelligence services are investigating the sensitive issue and have not yet said anything about any possible suspects. An important meeting was planned in the room today.

President of the European Commission Von der Leyen is in Katowice. A future plan for the EU is expected as part of the sixteenth European Economic Congress. Polish Prime Minister Tusk has a meeting with Von der Leyen and the members of his Council of Ministers.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers is scheduled for 12 noon, Polish media write. The discovery was made in this meeting room. The security services “have found and disabled equipment that could be used to eavesdrop,” it was announced this morning.
