US President Joe Biden is convinced that his Republican rival Donald Trump will not accept a possible loss in the presidential elections later this year. Biden said this in an interview with a news channel CNN.

According to Biden, it is likely that Trump will refuse to admit defeat, just like in 2020. “I promise you he won’t do it, which is dangerous.”

Trump continues to insist he won the 2020 election, despite a series of losing lawsuits he filed. Evidence of election fraud has never been found. “How many lawsuits have there been? Cases in the Supreme Court? They all said ‘this was a perfectly legitimate election,'” Biden said.

Last week, Trump (77) hinted during an interview that he might question the election results. He said he would only accept the result ‘if everything went smoothly’. If not, he says there would have to be a ‘fight’ for the land.

In 2021, Trump called on his supporters to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s victory, after which the Capitol in Washington DC was stormed. Five people were killed.

According to the 81-year-old Biden, US allies hope that he will win a second term in November. “Look, I travel around the world and other world leaders, you know what they all say? Eighty percent say after a meeting: ‘You have to win, my democracy is at stake.’”
