Flitsmeister has unveiled its latest gadget. After the ONE and TWO, there is now the DASH. Another dashboard gadget, but more complete and completely independent. DASH has its own internet connection, is always on and works throughout Europe.
Unlike the second previous Flitsmeister gadgets, the DASH works completely independently, even without you having a phone with you. DASH has a built-in SIM card, which works throughout Europe with a corresponding subscription. DASH has a round screen and comes with holders for the dashboard and the ventilation grille. These holders have a built-in magnetic charger that you can connect to your car: this way DASH can always be on and the magnet makes it easy to click it into place when you put it away.
On DASH’s round screen you see everything you expect from Flitsmeister. You see your current and permitted speed, and whether you are in an area with speed control. Every speed camera is also announced, and you can see upcoming traffic jams and accidents. You can also report accidents or work via DASH, and easily report whether accidents or mobile speed cameras are still present.
With subscription
Flitsmeister’s parking function also works via DASH, so that in places with paid parking you are always asked whether you want to start a parking campaign. When you leave, you will also be asked again if you want to stop, so that you do not pay too much. The DASH is operated with the round touchscreen and the buttons on the sides. The device has a diameter of about 9.5 centimeters and is supplied complete with a USB adapter and 12v charger.
Flitsmeister DASH costs 149.99 euros, and only works with the DASH subscription of 9.99 euros per month. That subscription includes all the functions of Flitsmeister Pro and the trip registration function. Anyone who already uses Flitsmeister Pro can convert that subscription to the DASH subscription. Flitsmeister DASH can now be ordered, the first batch will probably be delivered in July.
