Zendaya has a new haircut! The actress – who isn’t averse to a hair transformation or two – has parked her chocolate brown locks for now, swapping them for a blonde look. Just in time for spring, and the perfect combination with her old money bob.

In an Instagram post by Law Roach – the creative brain behind all her looks – Zendaya can be seen wearing a set by Elisabetta Franchi, consisting of a casual shirt and shorts. Her locks are clearly a different color than before: sepia blonde, blow-dried into wavy, bouncy locks. It is a multi-dimensional color that we have seen on more celebrities lately, such as Keke Palmer, Rihanna and Beyoncé. The warm shade can best be described as a mix between brunette, honey blonde and sandy blonde. It looks chic and nostalgic at the same time, and very contemporary at the same time. This is not the first time that we have seen Zendaya with a new cut – she previously rocked unforgettable micro bangs and a very short bob.
‘Challenger’ the movie
During the Challengers-premiere (the new steamy film in which the actress plays a leading role) she was already seen earlier this week with several blond strands, apparently the harbinger of her new hairstyle. Either way, it promises to be an interesting one press tour (and film); challengers is directed by Luca Guadagnino, the man behind Call Me By Your Name sit. The plot follows three tennis players who have known each other since their teens (as exes and former best friends), and are now involved in the same tennis match. Because they all want to win, all kinds of old rivalries and desires bubble up on and off the track. Worth watching, we suspect.
