I have done things clumsily here too, but then I will come back to it the next day. You really have difficulty admitting that you yourself are to blame for the whole riot. You have no penitent in your character.”

Akyol then bounces the ball back to Derksen and asks De Snor when he last said sorry live on television: “Well, I’ve been bullshitting with Angela de Jong here and then you have to say that the next day.” Derksen indicates, after which Akyol returns to the fact that he does not regret his statements. The columnist backs down slightly: “Maybe I shouldn’t have started about the video, that was awkward, but what about the rest?”
