The downfall of Jones

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards went well with writing their own work, which meant that Jones’ role within the band became increasingly smaller. “The horribly big hit Satisfaction was a downfall for Brian Jones. Due to all the narcotics, standards of decency seemed to disappear and he became unmanageable,” says Blokhuis. As a result, the guitarist was expelled from the band. He died three weeks later. As a result, he became one of the first members of the band. club of 27, artists who died at the age of 27. The band is still active and successful. “But without Jones, there would be no Stones,” says Blokhuis.
