Agents raided the business premises of rapper and plant boss Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in Los Angeles on Monday. This may have to do with sexual exploitation.

The properties are owned by Bad Boy Films, a Combs production company. They are in Holmby Hills, a wealthy neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to some media, properties in Miami have also been raided. The raids were approved by a New York court. The operation included boats and helicopters.

According to entertainment site TMZ 54-year-old Combs was questioned but not arrested. He was spotted at an airport in Miami on Monday.

TMZ says the investigation is related to sexual exploitation. Also CNN reports this based on an anonymous source. Combs has recently been accused of rape by several women.

These charges followed in quick succession, because a regulation in this area had been amended in New York. Through the so-called Adult Survivors Act, victims of sexual violence can still file a complaint if an offense has already officially expired.

Combs, who became known in the 1990s under the name Puff Daddy, denies all accusations against him. Due to the charges, the rapper has temporarily stepped down as chairman of the music network Revolt. Business magazine Forbes estimates the successful musician’s fortune at 1 billion dollars (922 million euros).
