SAP Netherlands appoints Bart Doomen as Chief Business Officer

New feature underlines ambitions for sustainable growth in the cloud
SAP Netherlands has appointed Bart Doomen as Chief Business Officer. With this new feature, SAP aims to further strengthen its position in the cloud market while accelerating its sustainable growth in cloud solutions.

Bart Doomen will take up the new position with effect from April 1, 2024. Doomen, who recently held the position of Head of Industries and previously worked in management and account management positions both within and outside SAP, brings extensive experience within the sector. His proven track record – in delivering sustainable growth that focuses on customer objectives – makes him the ideal candidate for this strategic position.

Development of cloud offerings
As CBO, Doomen has direct responsibility for Customer Advisory and Business Development. Doomen manages the teams involved in the customer journey and the development of the cloud offering. Strategic initiatives such as Go to Market, Business AI and Sovereign Cloud will fall under his leadership.
