GOES – The new Zeeland Career Newspaper will be launched in the first week of May and this news triggers many positive reactions and requests. “The reactions from the market are overwhelming,” says director Luuk Roozeboom of Uitgeverij de Bode, one of the initiators. For the Zeeuwse Carrièrekrant, Uitgeverij de Bode joins forces with the Zeeuwse Vacaturebank and advertising agency LMG strategy+creatie. “We are proud to be able to operate in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen with the Zeeuwsch Vlaams Advertisementblad as a partner,” says Roozeboom.

The first Zeeland Career Newspaper will be published in the week of May 5 and that is good news for working and enterprising Zeeland. The collaborating parties, each based on their own expertise, are experienced in matching employers and job seekers. Jim Goedhart is the man behind the Zeeuwse Vacaturebank and De Zeeuwse Connectie, Perry Kentin of advertising agency LMG strategy+creatie is known for organizing the successful networking fair Contacta and all kinds of physical job fairs and Luuk Roozeboom has been publishing Weekblad de Bode in Zeeland for many years. West Brabant, including special periodic supplements about work and vacancies. For the collaboration in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, a partnership has been concluded with the Zeeuwsch Vlaams Advertisement Magazine (ZVA), in the person of Wiebe Keverkamp.

Easier for entrepreneurs

To strengthen each other, but especially to make it easier and clearer for entrepreneurs, Goedhart, Kentin and Roozeboom present the Zeeland Carrièrekrant. This is a multimedia platform about all the strengths and opportunities of and in Zeeland in the field of the labor market, employment and education. Positive, inspiring stories highlight the many facets that make Zeeland an attractive place to work.

Strengthen the region

Perry Kentin: “Zeeland and Zeeland employers have a lot to offer, but that is not always known. We draw attention to all these opportunities to strengthen our region. We actively inspire job seekers and even people who are not consciously looking for another job.”

Jim Goedhart: “Employers sometimes have difficulty finding the right people. They can profile their company via the Zeeland Carrièrekrant. With this collaboration we combat fragmentation, because from now on entrepreneurs can submit their question in one go to profile their company and reach the entire province with their vacancies.”

Luuk Roozeboom: “Much broader than a job vacancy newspaper, this will be a career newspaper with interviews about lifelong development. In addition to the online platform, we publish the Zeeland Carrièrekrant four times a year door-to-door throughout Zeeland. For this purpose, we work together in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen with a renowned party, the Zeeuwsch Vlaams Advertisement Magazine.”
