Utrecht is one of the best cycling cities in the world and something special will be added on Thursday; the world’s first full-length mirror for cyclists. At this ten-meter-long mirror on the Neude in the heart of the city center, cyclists can check whether their bicycle still suits their style.

The full-length mirror will be located close to one of the busiest cycle paths in the world. The Dutch bicycle brand Cortina will install the ten-meter-long colossus on Thursday morning, which is worth a look. Utrecht already had the largest bicycle shed in the world and now the first full-length mirror for cyclists has been added.

The mirror is intended to show people how their bicycle suits their personality and style. Research among 500 respondents shows that 86.3 percent of them check their own reflection when they pass a window or mirror. The bicycle is an item that people use almost every day and with which you can express your personality, but when it is purchased, people usually do not stand in front of the mirror to assess the overall picture. Cortina changes this with the gigantic mirror. Because in cycling city Utrecht, a bicycle is part of your personality.

The Reflection Ride, as the mirror of Cortina is called, can be found on the Neude on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Good for selfies, or to see yourself on the bike. Of course, there are also all kinds of Cortina bicycles to test.
