MAARSSEN > On April 24 at 3:30 PM, councilor Karin van Vliet will officially open the Maarssen Village Hall.
This is also the kick-off of a series of exhibitions and other art expressions under the motto “Maarssen in de Kunst”, in which local art and culture take center stage. The first to open this artistic ball is the Maarssen artist Martine van Lieshout. This series of exhibitions will take place with a sparkling opening, where guests will have the opportunity to admire the creative works of Martine van Lieshout. Van Lieshout, a talented local artist, will showcase her compelling creations and take the audience on an inspiring artistic journey.
The exhibition in the Village Hall promises to be not only a visual spectacle, but also a celebration of the rich art scene and cultural diversity in Maarssen. It provides a platform for local artists to showcase their talents and strengthen their bond with the community.
“We are happy that we can supplement the vibrant village life with art and culture from our own village,” says Ries van den Boogaard, secretary of Dorpshuis Maarssen. “We think it’s great to give artists, both professional and amateur, space to exhibit in this way.”
The board of the Village Hall cordially invites all interested parties to attend the opening and enjoy the beautiful works of art that Maarssen has to offer. This exhibition promises to be an inspiring experience for art lovers and the wider community alike.
