Karma Revero enters the third generation from the Netherlands

--

Keep trying

Do you remember Karma? The continuation of the ‘old’ Fisker was off the stage for a while, but will be back in Europe very soon. From the Netherlands, and with the third generation Karma Revero as its most important achievement.

Karma is a brand that we probably need to explain. The car above is broadly known as the Fisker Karma, an extreme-looking four-door coupe with an electric drivetrain and a range extender. A plug-in hybrid, but different. Fisker is now back (as Fisker Inc instead of Fisker Automotive) and is building the Ocean, although unfortunately things are not going great there either.

The remains of the ‘old’ Fisker live on under a Chinese owner in Karma, a company still based in California that still wants to make some money based on the old Fisker Karma. This first happened ten years ago with a Karma Revero that looked exactly like the original, but from 2019 we know the Karma Revero GT. It has a unique nose and a new drivetrain, where the four-cylinder from GM made way for a three-cylinder from BMW. All kinds of derivatives came, but it has been quiet around Karma for a while.

Not coincidentally, it now appears: since last May, production has been at a standstill at Karma, which said it ‘wanted to focus on quality’. The whole thing has been restructured, a new team has been formed and a new vision has been developed. The thus renewed Karma brand wants to introduce a new generation of the Karma Revero in Europe at the end of June. It does this from the brand’s European headquarters, Kroymans in Hilversum. In addition to the updated Revero, from the end of 2025 you can also get the Geyesera, another derivative of the Fisker Karma of yesteryear. A two-door model is also in the pipeline and can even be pre-ordered on the Karma website. However, Karma does not yet mention an introduction moment for Kaveya.
