Zuidwolde/Groningen/Assen – The Orange party in the context of King’s Day has been a great success in various cities. There was an Orange market in Zuidwolde on Friday evening that was busy. The children also did good business at the Vrijmarkt. The King’s Night in Assen was attended by thousands of visitors. Bands performed at various points such as the Markt and Koopmansplein. Moreover, the catering industry did good business on this evening and night. It will all be done again on King’s Day.
The 100-year-old Orange Association organized the musical program for the City of Groningen during King’s Night and King’s Day. The main stage can be found at the Vismarkt, as almost every year. All kinds of well-known artists and DJs perform here for free during King’s Night and Day! Friday evening was busy and that promises something for the night. There was also a party in the grain factory where, halfway through Friday evening, hundreds of visitors stood in a long line to attend the musical party.
