The asphalt on Winthontlaan, Liesboschbrug, Noordersluis, Oeverpad and Gelderlantlaan in Utrecht will be renewed next summer. Due to the work, the roads and bridge are temporarily closed to traffic.

The work is divided into phases. The first phase lasts from July 1 to 7. During this period, the asphalt on Winthontlaan between Mauritiuslaan and the Liesbosch Bridge will be tackled. “The Winthontlaan is closed to through traffic. Motorized traffic must follow a diversion route. The companies on Winthontlaan are accessible to local traffic via the Liesbosch Bridge,” the municipality writes.

Phase two starts on July 8 and lasts until July 28. During these twenty days, the asphalt on the Liesbosch Bridge will be renewed, meaning that the bridge and the adjacent intersection are closed to cars. Traffic is also being diverted here. “The Noordersluis and Gelderlantlaan are accessible via the Qbuzz site. Winthontlaan is only accessible via Mauritiuslaan.”

Finally, in the third phase, which starts on July 29 and lasts until August 4, the asphalt on the section between the intersection at the Liesbosch Bridge and Gelderlantlaan will be renewed. “The Noordersluis, Overpad and Gelderlantlaan are closed to through traffic,” writes the municipality of Utrecht.
