Omnicom Media Group has appointed Marijke Wiersma as managing director of the data, tech and analytics label Annalect Nederland as of May 1.

Wiersma was already promoted to managing partner at Annalect Nederland in 2023 and is now making the step to managing director. She reports directly to the management of OmnicomMediaGroup Netherlands. Wiersma previously worked on the client side at Wehkamp and the National Postcode Lottery and started her career at digital branding agency Qi.

Wiersma: ‘Since the start of my career in 2006, data, tech and analytics have been a common thread in my work. Curiosity about why we see certain patterns and how we can provide even better insights drives my broad interest and development. At OMG, and in particular at Annalect, everything is now falling into place. With my knowledge and experience I can contribute to the growth of customers, the development of my team and the insights that make the work of colleagues within OMG more efficient and easier.’

Under Marijke’s leadership, Annalect has already taken significant steps in the field of “marketing mix modeling” and the technical implementation of conversion API support for large international tech platforms such as Meta.
