--

We are looking for a part-time editor/magazine maker (employed or freelance) for Luchtvaartnieuws Magazine. Together we want to further build on our position as a high-quality trade magazine for the frequent (business) traveler and the airline & business travel industry. A professional who takes her or his work seriously cannot do without Aviation News Magazine, that is the proposition to our readers.

Are you the one who will sink your teeth into our publication, for an average of 5 days a month? Then maybe we have found each other.

What are you going to do?
As editor-in-chief/magazine creator, you support the editorial team. In addition to your final editing, you coordinate the composition of the magazine with the editors, freelancers, the sales department, photographers, the designer and the printer. You are responsible for the end product together with the publisher.

You can do your work from home, but of course you are also very welcome at our office next to Utrecht Central Station.

Who are we?
Reismedia Group publishes various media for the aviation and (business) travel industry. From websites and magazines to events, podcasts and newsletters. We ensure that our readers always remain up-to-date and that our partners can offer their information in an environment that adds knowledge and value. With titles such as Aviation News, Trip Talk, Travel Bizz and the Career Experience, we offer a wealth of information and insights.

But we do more than just publish. We also organize events such as festivals and travel agent meetings. And for the business travel industry we have inspiration meetings, an annual business travel conference and even a business travel gala. And then we also have the Career Experience, where job seekers, trainers, students and employers meet each other.

The titles Aviation News and Business Travel News have existed for 23 years and are both market leaders in the Netherlands, Belgium and overseas areas where Dutch is spoken.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a colleague (employed or freelance) who will monitor the quality of the magazine and help take it to a higher level. You keep an eye on the big picture and, together with the editors, ensure a top product. With your clear vision you can help further expand the Aviation News Magazine brand. At the same time, you are determined to improve processes and embrace new ideas.

As a magazine maker you are a driver of change. You have creative and original ideas for themes, perspectives and stories. You are critical of language, style and form.

In addition, you work closely with all relevant disciplines, such as editorial, sales, marketing, e-commerce and event organization. You have an enterprising spirit and, together with the publisher, ensure a financially healthy title.

This is what you can do:
• You have experience as an editor, magazine maker or magazine coordinator;
• You write fluently in Dutch;
• You work in an organized manner;
• You are stress-resistant;
• You can deal well with hard deadlines;
• Affinity with the airline or (business) travel industry is an advantage.

What do we offer?
• Flexible working hours;
• Place within a close-knit team;
• Space to work at home or at the office;
• Monthly drinks;
• Lots of room for your own ideas;
• A competitive salary based on experience and performance.
