Ardonagh Netherlands has appointed Sunny Léons, the current CEO of Léons Group, as CEO. In addition, Fred Willemze will become the new managing director of Klap.
Ardonagh Netherlands owns Léons Group, Klap Insurance Broker and Classicus Private Insurance. Sunny Léons report to Conor Brennan, Executive Chairman of Ardonagh Global Partners. Dov Rychter, commercial director of Léons Group, will take on the role of managing director of Léons Group. Jorg Roodbeen, CEO of Klap, has been appointed Chief Acquisitions Officer, responsible for managing the M&A process in the Netherlands.
Fred Willemze
Roodbeen is succeeded at Klap by Fred Willemze (photo). He will be responsible for leading the expansion of the specialist insurance broker, founded in 1854. With more than 40 years of experience in the sector, he has a strong track record of achieving organic growth in both the broker and proxy channels. He previously held leadership positions at Marsh & McLennan.
