BUNNIK The 22 participating municipalities and the province of Utrecht have completed the tender process for the Regiotaxi 2024-2028. This means that the carriers for Wmo transport and the public transport safety net, as well as for student transport and youth care transport, are known.
Willemsen de Koning Groep BV will be the carrier for the regions of Utrecht Stad, Utrecht West and Lekstroom. For Southeast Utrecht and Eemland this concerns Connexxion Taxi Services BV. For target group transport, the municipalities are divided into the following regions:
Utrecht City (municipality of Utrecht) Utrecht West (the municipalities of Montfoort, Oudewater, De Ronde Venen, Stichtse Vecht and Woerden) Lekstroom (the municipalities of Houten, IJsselstein, Lopik, Nieuwegein and Vijfheerenlanden) Southeast Utrecht (the municipalities of Bunnik, De Bilt, Utrechtse Heuvelrug , Wijk bij Duurstede and Zeist) Eemland (the municipalities of Amersfoort, Baarn, Bunschoten, Leusden, Soest and Woudenberg)
The carriers will also enter into an umbrella partnership with the province of Utrecht for public transport safety net transport. The awarded carriers in West, Lekstroom and Southeast Utrecht will, in addition to the regional taxi, also provide student transport and youth care transport. Student and youth care transport for the Eemland and Utrecht city regions is not included in this tender.
The starting date for the new contract for Wmo transport and public transport safety net transport is September 1, 2024, the starting date for student transport and youth care transport is January 1, 2025. A temporary contract will be concluded for student transport and youth care transport for the period from September 1 to January 1. , where all parties strive to make this as smooth as possible for travelers.
