The tires of several cars were punctured in the parking lot of the Woonin housing association on Koningin Wilhelminalaan in Utrecht over two weekends in April. The police believe that the same person is responsible for this and are still looking for the perpetrator.

The first time it hit was on the night of Saturday 6 to Sunday 7 April. According to the police, a ‘rowdy man’ crept into the Woonin parking lot on Koningin Wilhelminalaan to puncture the tires of all the cars on the parking deck. This concerns fifteen cars, of which a window was also destroyed in one car.

Three weeks later the tire puncture struck again. During the night of Sunday 28 to Monday 29 April, the tires of several cars in the parking lot suffered again.

The police have images of the incidents, showing one suspect wearing virtually the same clothing both times. This makes the police think it is the same perpetrator. A description of the man has been distributed and the police hope to get in touch with witnesses or people with camera images.
