Cyclist seriously injured after being kicked in the back, police show images of perpetrator

The police in Groningen today distributed images showing a young – possibly 15-year-old – cyclist who kicked a 60-year-old cyclist hard in the back in front of a supermarket on the Wilhelminakade in Groningen on Friday, April 12, around 2:30 p.m. . The man fell and suffered several broken legs. According to the police, the victim has a long rehabilitation process ahead of him.

“Who recognizes this boy who kicked a cyclist in Groningen hard in the back? Let us know,” is the call from the police.

Paddepoel

The suspected teenager continued cycling after the stairs in the direction of Paddepoel. The boy has dark blond hair and was wearing sweatpants and a gray jacket. He rode a gray Swapfiets.
