About Artsy Avenue
In the center of Groningen you can find Artsy Avenue, a café where you can express your creativity. At Artsy Avenue you can paint pottery and create your own unique pieces.
Upon arrival you choose a pottery item. This can be a mug, plate, vase or something else. Next you will collect the colors you want to use to decorate this item. This allows you to create your unique design on your pottery item. During this process you can enjoy the delicious coffee or other drinks that they serve at Artsy Avenue. When your pottery item has the desired design, you hand it in to an employee. They will take your item to the kiln. The kiln will allow the colors to penetrate into the clay and therefore remain permanently in your item. After about 4 weeks you can pick up your unique item at Artsy Avenue and take it home.
Artsy Avenue also offers you the opportunity to take their handmade drinks to go. So you can also come here in the morning for your fresh cup of coffee to go.
