International music festival Le Guess Who? is conducting a trial with tickets for people with a low income in the coming edition. The initiative is especially for those for whom it would otherwise not be possible to go to the festival. Le Guess Who? makes day tickets available for which visitors can decide for themselves what they can pay.

Le Guess Who? already collaborates with U-pas, for a discount for people with a low income from Utrecht, and CJP, for a discount for Dutch young people. With the new trial, the organization wants to make the festival, which will take place this year from November 7 to 10, further accessible to a wide audience.

“This initiative stems from the fact that we hear that the price is one of the biggest barriers for people to visit the festival,” says Barry Spooren, Head of Marketing and Communications. “It is completely based on trust and openness. Le Guess Who? stands for discovering new sounds and bringing people together through music. We want to give people who would like to visit the festival, but do not have the financial resources, the opportunity to do so.”

Registrations for these tickets opened on Wednesday, May 8. The tickets will be shipped from June until they are sold out. More information and the registration form can be found at www.leguesswho.com/celebrate-together.
