The five American shareholders of FC Den Bosch are selling their shares. These shares and all associated obligations will be taken over by four new parties.

In recent months, existing shareholders, the Supervisory Board and management of the Den Bosch professional football organization have been looking for new opportunities and/or potential investors for more continuity in the club’s business operations.
The collaboration with the American co-owners did not turn out to be what the parties expected. A number of them also no longer met their financial obligations. This, and the lack of confidence that this would improve in the future, made FC Den Bosch look for new partners.

FC Den Bosch thanks the American shareholders for their investments in the club and for restoring financial balance in 2021, when the club’s survival was threatened. FC Den Bosch also owes its thanks to Chien Lee, who played an important role in finding a solution.

FC Den Bosch has now informed the KNVB’s Professional Football Licensing Office of the desired changes, whereby none of the new shareholders will obtain a stake of 25 percent or more. Forza FC Den Bosch, the group of local shareholders, retains shares. The golden priority share, which guarantees, among other things, the name, club colors, club culture and location, remains the property of Stichting Behoud Betaald Voetbal ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

The complex collaboration with some of the American shareholders has caused a lot of unrest in and around the club. FC Den Bosch is now putting an end to this unrest by announcing the impending change in the shareholder structure.
As soon as all formalities have been completed, the new shareholders will present themselves with their plans to the Den Bosch public and the media.
