Pascal Jansen was spotted several times in the Ajax stadium in recent months, but was also in the stands at Feyenoord. The club-less trainer was asked by Feyenoord supporters not to work in Amsterdam.

In the last part of Good morning Eredivisie Hans Kraay junior explains what Jansen said in the commercial break about the visit to Feyenoord. “You just said something else off the recordwhen we spoke to each other during the commercial, that you had been to Feyenoord a few times, and that supporters said to you…” Jansen answers: “It’s nice to have you there.”

That was obviously a joke. “No, no, what did they say to you?” said Kraay, who already knew the answer. Jansen did not want to say it himself: “I don’t remember, what did I say to you?” Kraay: “You told me that they shouted: ‘For heaven’s sake you’re not going to 020, are you?’” Jansen doesn’t take it too seriously. “Oh okay. Yes, of course that was that Rotterdam humor in the stands.”

Jansen further says that he is not surprised or disappointed that he has not been approached by Ajax or Feyenoord to become the new trainer. But, says journalist Sjoerd Mossou: “Feyenoord is not that far yet, so in theory it could still be possible.” Kraay responds: “That’s why you were at Feyenoord!” Presenter Fresia Cousiño Arias concludes: “Learned something again: never say anything to Hans in advertising.”
