The first selection of FC Groningen trains in Euroborg on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Both training sessions are public and free for supporters to attend. Stadium entrance 4 of Euroborg is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30 am. The public can take a seat in the Koeman Grandstand, where a catering sales point will be open. The training sessions start at 11:00 am on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The groundsmen of FC Groningen are so satisfied with the quality of the turf in Euroborg that they have offered the technical staff to complete the last two training sessions for Friday’s home match against Roda JC in the stadium. Players and staff have gratefully accepted this offer.

The quality of the turf in Euroborg is much better than the training field at Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn because only one training field is available there due to major maintenance on fields 2 and 3. Field 1 – the only remaining training field for the first selection on Corpus – is now suffering considerably from the intensity of its use, so the option to train in Euroborg is being seized with both hands.

Catering and merchandise
Supporters can follow the training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from the Koeman Tribune. A catering sales point will be open there, where a limited range of coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available and a bag of chips can be purchased for children. The stadium will be closed again at 1 p.m.

The FC Groningen Store in Euroborg has extended its opening hours especially around the training sessions in the stadium.

  • Wednesday: open from 10 a.m. (instead of 12 p.m.) to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday: Ascension Day (normally closed) open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is still a 50% discount on this season’s entire Robey collection! Stock is still limited.
