It was a hot evening in Apeldoorn where the final of the East district cup was played. At Sportpark Berg en Bos of AGOVV it even became a bit grim at one point when a Vitesse scarf was set on fire with the fire of a torch. Afterwards there was even a brawl on the Klaas-Jan Huntelaar stands.

In the second half, a Juliana’31 supporter decided to put on a red-green-black balaclava. Malden, the place where Juliana’31 comes from, is a village with many NEC supporters. A torch was lit and a Vitesse scarf was ritually burned. While the scarf of the Gelderland club went up in flames, Quick’20 made it 3-1.
Not much later, a fight broke out between the two groups of supporters. The guest with the NEC balaclava (clearly recognizable in the video below) walked with other guests towards the supporters from Twente. “Shame on you,” was shouted by the accompanying supporters from Oldenzaal, who had the last laugh, because the score was 4-2 for Quick’20.
