I have been using Blink doorbell and cameras for 1.5 years, the catch is the poor recording time (max 30 seconds per recording and then it goes into “rest” for 10 seconds). This means that when it (finally) detects something, it will record for a maximum of 30 seconds, after which it will stop. If anything happens after those 30 seconds, you’re out of luck. Furthermore, it can only record when you put Blink in “alarm” mode.
Furthermore, it is currently not possible to set up a live view on the current models for longer than 30 seconds, as you have to press a continuous button every time. I thought this can be done a maximum of 6 times, after which the stream stops. This is also purely so as not to burden their Cloud service.
Another point is no integration for Ring devices such as a chime (doorbell sound) and they do not offer any hardware for this. You can play the doorbell chime on your other indoor cameras and that works reasonably well. Of course only if your internet works
Furthermore, for the money you get excellent build quality and image quality is OK. The app also receives regular updates and new features are added.
